Antifreeze

Antifreeze is used in vehicle engines to cool the engine. Also called “coolant,” it is often diluted with water, and some products are pre-diluted, or “50/50.”

How toxic is it?

Antifreeze contains ethylene glycol, a toxic alcohol that tastes sweet, and can harm vital organs, even in small amounts. RV antifreeze may contain other ingredients.
