Education Resources
We create resources to help reduce harm from toxic exposures in our state–offering expert guidance, timely updates, and practical tools for educators.
Poison Safety Checklist
A checklist for the potentially harmful items in your home need to be used and stored safely. Keep them out of sight and out of reach of children. If possible, lock them up.

Limited english proficiency health literacy handout
Our education team developed a half-page handout to inform people about where to get their health care needs met—by calling 911, 988, the Washington Poison Center, or visiting the doctor, urgent care, or the ER.

Overdose Awareness Series
Through presentations from our own staff and from external experts, we explore unintentional and intentional factors that can lead to overdose, how to respond to different overdose situations, how to prevent and reduce harm from overdose, and how to access resources and treatment in the state of Washington.
