About Us

We Are Here for You.

Washington Poison Center is a team of pharmacists, nurses, physicians, and public health educators dedicated to protecting the health of our communities. Our 24/7 Helpline staff are medical professionals who receive extensive training in toxicology and poison information, ensuring they can provide calm, expert guidance when it’s needed most.

Our public health educators work in community spaces, healthcare settings, and schools to prevent poisonings and overdoses before they happen. We also train future healthcare professionals, educate providers on emerging trends, and advise on public policy, extending our impact beyond our Helpline.

Together, we combine expertise, education, and compassion to keep Washington families safe and supported.
