Support the Washington Poison Center

Since 1956, the Washington Poison Center has provided critical, life-saving guidance on poisons and toxic exposures to Washingtonians.

Our mission is to prevent and reduce harm from poisoning through expertise, collaboration, and education.

We empower community members and support health professionals to prevent and treat poisonings and overdoses—working together toward a future where where toxic exposures are no longer the leading cause of unintentional death.

Trusted by hospitals and first responders

27% of calls come from our fellow healthcare providers.

Our specially trained pharmacists, nurses, and board-certified physicians become an extension of the care team from the very first call, giving immediate guidance and on-going case consultation.
